True Blood Season 3 Premiere is almost here!

In honor of the premiere (wow, waiting really does suck!) on Sunday, I gathered some of the promo shots and screen shots for Season 3 that have been released.

There are so many good photos, but these two videos, particularly the one of Mr. Skarsgård leaving the Arclight and doing autographs and pictures on the way, made me weak in the knees.  He's just so... nice.  How is that possible?  He offers to take another photo with a fan in case she doesn't like how the first one looked... and another (male) fan requested his photo be taken lengthwise... I am guess to capture his Skars-tastic height.  Excuse me while I go fan myself.

True Blood Season 2 DVDs Released Today

I ordered mine in October- the wait has seemed to stretch on forever! But Amazon says it will be in my hot little hands on May 29th. Woo hoo!  DVD extras of  Mr. Skarsgård's commentary... ooh... I don't know about you, but I could listen to him read the phone book or manual to my washing machine.  I wish he would do audio books, especially children's books.  My kid would love that.  I'd definitely have Swede dreams if I fell asleep listening to his voice.  Anyhoo... In honor, enjoy some choice Eric Northman pics from Season 2.

Dressed in Black Again

Alternatively, for you other modern rock fans, (yeah, that's what it was called before "classic alternative"), "I Wear Black on the Outside Because Black is How I Feel on the Inside."
I've been wearing predominantly black since I was 13. I'm not goth, I just know who I am and what I like.  (Black top, jeans, boots!)  Now, I can barely see things in my closet without a flashlight- I dress by feeling the fabric. 
I've noticed Mr. Skarsgård also wears a lot of black and other dark colors (like grey, my other favorite), and simple clothes.  I like. I like a lot.  Maybe you like, too?

If you know/love him enough to be checking out this blog, you know it's pretty likely it's the same black blazer and button down in several of those photos.  Mr. Skarsgård has excellent taste, but he's no clothes horse.  Substance and quality over quantity seems to be his fashion principle.  How refreshing!

Tribeca Film Festival April 2010

My pal Dawn Leppert went to the Tribeca Film Festival for the screening of Metropia.  Here are her lovely photos of Mr. Skarsgård.  She said he was so kind and patient with the fans and told them to take their time and get their photos.  (Of course, we knew he was excellent to his fans.) Our pals Claudine and Bonnie were there, too, and Bonnie even asked him some questions that had been on our minds.

Red Carpet Intensity

I'm so ridiculously behind and so much happened this week. I am thinking specifically of the Details magazine photos and video.  If you've been in a coma and missed all this, take a moment (or a few hours) to peruse them and then come on back.

Maybe it's his modeling background, or his general hotness, or his acting skills, (probably all of those), but some of his Red Carpet photos where he doesn't smile are really amazing.
